Who We Are

The Caribou Loop Trail Committee

The Caribou Loop Trail Committee is comprised of County Commissioners from Caribou County Idaho, Bonneville County Idaho, and Lincoln County Wyoming. Additional members and support organizations include: Idaho Fish and Game; Forest Service; Idaho Transportation Department; Wyoming Department of Transportation; Stewards of the Greys; Blue Ribbon Coalition; Multiple local trail users and ATV/UTV organizations and the Great Western Trail.

Our overall goal with the Caribou Loop Trail system is to connect several roads and trails into a loop system that will be accessible to ATV’s, UTV’s up to 66” wide, motorcycles, bicycles, and all other non motorized modes of transportation. The main loop trail is over 200 miles long and tours through remote mountains of Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.
