1. Idaho
Requirements for using ORVs in Idaho are listed starting on page 11 of the current Idaho OHV Booklet
Any vehicle that does not meet federal motor vehicle
safety standards shall not be permitted to operate on state
highways, interstates, or controlled access roadways.
In most cases, a valid ORV permit sticker is required for ORV riding on Idaho trails per the booklet.

2. Wyoming
Wyoming ORV machines require a valid ORV permit sticker.
